149 and the big 150 coming up! Whoo hoooo! Today it was a breakfast wrap but while listening for the big 150, I think Champers and orange juice should be the order of the day. Congratulations to you Peter Godfrey for this milestone coming up, and thanks for this timely ‘back to basics’ reminder. Wow how many times have I sat in on trainees doing a sales presentation who have made the sale but not closed or recognised the prospects intentions, droning on and on and the prospect looking at me in desperation as my protege’ continued talking himself or herself out of that sale, but of course, like a good driving instructor, ya gotta grab the wheel and sometimes it was as simple as me silently handing the prospect my pen and him signing the agreement whilst “Johnny come lately” was still carrying on with his prepared speech wondering why his interviewee was head down scribbling on the paperwork. It was funny sometimes and that’s what a lot of people don’t get, selling in any form is a game who’s rules you have to learn. Learn the skills, learn the rules and have fun. Simple 😉 Thanks again Pete. I love this group!
