Back in April 2007 Pete shared a dinner with Joe Sugarmen.
Now, you can never accuse Pete of being a fan boy who gushes like a schoolgirl over every shiny new guru. But with Joe, it was a little different. Pete had plenty of respect for him, and in between drinks and dinner, quizzed him relentlessly.
Joe was brilliant at making his prospects FEEL they actually own the product he’s trying to sell. He put the prospect in the product picture. He was a master at future pacing.
